If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation.

Alcohol is our nations #1 drug problem as it seriously affects the health. While moderate drinking (no more than one or two drinks per day) may not be harmful. excessive drinking is strongly associated with the leading causes of death. (Accidents, cirrhosis of liver, cancer, pneumonia, suicide, and murder).

Alcohol is bad for weight loss, it’s almost impossible to lose weight when drinking alcohol. It’s high in empty calories, high in sugar and artificial sweeteners, gluten and other chemicals that the leads to eating more unhealthy foods, especially the next day.

If you are drinking you will probably not feel good the next day, you are going to be less likely to be physically active and follow a healthy eating habit and lifestyle.

Limit intake or don’t drink at all.0-3 times per week.1-2 drinks.
